Home is where I feel empowered, comfortable, motivated and happy.
I am currently majoring in Communication. I was inspired by my brother who graduated from Northwestern Qatar’s inaugural class. I personally choose communication due to its applications to my sports career and my role as an athlete in Qatar’s national athletics team. My communication studies have opened up many opportunities, fields to explore and work prospects.
My favorite places in Doha are Khalifa Stadium and Katara.

My major has opened doors to several different fields such as business, medical administration and politics. Communication is such a vital part of any company or business and it’s such a vital part of an organization’s operations.
My future career would be related to media and sports and I believe Northwestern Qatar has given me everything to kickstart my professional aspirations.
I have 24 hours to do anything and everything. Depending on how you look at it, you can either say it’s a lot of time or not enough. I’ve learnt to just make sure I prioritize the right things, and that can shift between my sports commitments and my academic commitments.
My studies at Northwestern have been rigorous enough that I feel like I am learning effectively, but also flexible enough that I can still juggle my career as a professional athlete. I think people often times think you can’t do both and have to choose between one or the other, but with the right mindset and work ethic, you can pursue both.
