Ihsan Yahya brings extensive expertise and has a career spanning over 26 years in broadcast, broadcast IT, production, news, and film studios. His professional tenure includes valuable contributions to well-respected organisations in the UK, such as BBC, ITV, and BSkyB. Before joining NU-Q, Ihsan played a pivotal role in the design and launch of Sky News Arabia in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, his team made significant contributions to establishing SkyNews Arabia's 13 foreign bureaus, including those in Rabat, Istanbul, Riyadh, London, and Washington DC.
Within Northwestern Qatar, Ihsan assumes responsibility for the technical operation and management of news and production infrastructure, encompassing the Newsroom, edit suites, NU-Q studios, technical training, event technical operation, and the redesign and build of news/broadcast infrastructure.
Ihsan is a holder of a BSc (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Middlesex University in London, in addition to an MBA from the University of Manchester.
