NU-Q student Maram Al-Qershi spent the summer in Chicago
Meet Maram Al-Qershi, an NU-Q student from Yemen who spent the summer getting to know parts of Chicago that many lifelong residents never discover.
Every summer, a handful of students from NU-Q further their education by getting to know Chicago through a summer-long program called Engage Chicago. They experience the lights, attend lectures and learn about the myriad communities that make up the city. The visiting NU-Q students also serve as a bridge, uniting Northwestern at home and abroad in the shared pursuit of knowledge.
