NU-Q research represented at QNRF seminar

The first to take up “The Role of Media in Society,” four NU-Q faculty and staff took part in Qatar National Research Fund’s (QNRF) Research Outcomes Seminar with representatives from Qatar University, Doha Institute of Graduate Studies and Hamad bin Khalifa University. 

Dean Everette E. Dennis and Professor Justin Martin discussed outcomes from the Media Use in the Middle East longitudinal studies.

Professor George Anghelcev presented findings from the health communication study, “Qatari Adolescents: How do they use digital technologies for health information and health monitoring.” Anghelcev now leads that effort going forward on behalf of former Senior Associate Dean Klaus Schoenbach.

Liz Lance, research manager at NU-Q, also took part in the meeting. Top leadership from QNRF were in attendance.
