NU-Q hosts interim U.S. ambassador to Qatar

Chargé d’affaires William Grant and the deans of U.S. universities convened at a meeting chaired by NU-Q Dean Everette E. Dennis.

The deans in attendance included César O. Malavé from Texas A&M University at Qatar, Ahmad S. Dallal from Georgetown University in Qatar, Donald Baker from Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar, and Cornell’s Chief Administrative Officer Ramin Sedehi -- all of whom reported on new developments in their respective schools.

Embassy staff present included Carissa Gonzalez, public affairs section officer; Kristina Rosales Kostrukova, foreign service officer; and Julia Kirby, education & cultural affairs specialist.
