“The Executive Education Program builds on Northwestern Qatar’s expertise in the fields of communication and media to help communication professionals advance their capabilities and succeed in today’s increasingly complex global business environment,” said Gregory Ferrell Lowe, director of the executive education program at Northwestern Qatar. “The new Spring 2023 program has been tailored to provide expert training for professionals seeking to develop competence in stakeholder engagement and social media management and analytics.”
The first course, Strategic Communication with Stakeholders, will train communication professionals in the basic principles and best practices needed to design effective stakeholder communication stakeholder strategies in both for-profit and non-profit organizations and manage stakeholder communication in times of crisis.
Participants will learn to harness the power of strategic communication to engage effectively with stakeholders both in good times and in times of organizational crises. After completing the course, participants will know how to identify important stakeholders and prioritize them from a strategic communication perspective; set up, activate and maintain effective communication channels; and options for proactive and reactive communication to engage with stakeholders.

The second course, Social Media Strategy, Tools & Analytics, has been designed to help participants develop their understanding of concepts, tools, and best practices for social media marketing, branding, and communications. Entrepreneurs, social media managers, and communication professionals enrolled in the course will develop the skills needed to design and implement effective and efficient marketing and communication campaigns for their organizations and products.
The course will include a series of practical case studies and social media marketing campaigns that will help participants learn how to achieve their strategic objectives and maximize the impact of their campaigns by reducing costs and using automated features and social media analytics.
