Filled with Purple Pride and Wildcat Spirit, 116 students making up Northwestern Qatar’s 16th incoming class, the Class of 2027, kicked off their undergraduate journey as Northwestern students after a week-long orientation program that set the stage for their next four years in the school.
Faculty, staff, and students at Northwestern Qatar came together to welcome the newest members of the community, the Class of 2027, as they marched through the Weber Arch, an annual Northwestern tradition marking the start of their journey as Northwestern students.
The Class of 2027 comprises around 116 students who were selected from a highly competitive applicant pool, showcasing exceptional academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and a variety of talents.
Representing 25 nationalities and even more cultures and languages, the Class of 2027 joins Northwestern Qatar’s diverse community of scholars, media-makers, journalists, media professionals, authors, writers, advocates, filmmakers, debaters, and storytellers committed to evidence-based storytelling and knowledge production in the Global South.
